recently got a 52 fleetline and started to try to get it running took off glass bowl cleaning it and the screen out , put it back together and can't stop it from leaking gasket looking ok but even after flipping it over it still leaks . Is there a place that sells replacement gaskets or do you use something else like something from a hardware store ? thanks

If it is the glass bowl on the fuel pump you can get a new gasket for the FiLLing Station.
If it is a add on gas filter you will have to now the brand etc. and tha could be a problem.
If you were to make a gasket it must be of a gas resistant material.

The orginal fuel pump gaaket was cork but chnge to neoprene rubber years ago.
Are you sure it is the gasket leaking?

It is not unlikely that the mounting surface for the bowl is warped. This is a result of over tightening.
Fel pro makes several sizes of bowl gaskets that are probably stocked at a local auto parts store. Other gasket companies probably offer them as well. Take the bowl with you to the store.
A new gasket will not solve your problem if the pump surface is badly warped. It might have been sealed by gunk, before you removed it.
