VCCA Home Forums Thread Like Summary - Babbitt bearing services

I am in the Metro Atlanta area. Does anyone know of a machine shop that pours bearings down here? I found a couple of shops in Ohio and California, just trying to find one in driving distance. 1 day turn around.

I gave them a quick phone call, they said the do 2-3 babbit pouring's a week. Looking pretty optimistic, I am hoping to get the motor down there in 2 weeks. I have a pretty stuck cam shaft, I believe it is rusted behind the cam gear. Once I get it out i will take it down.
