Yes, old masked man with the faithful Indian at your side, The turkey is long gone and the discussion still lives! Let's all go out for a sitting of chicken fried steak, mash potatoes and extra cream gravy! ....or maybe You may prefer some crumpets and a spot of tea!

Kipper: There's something primeval and instinctive about men, fire and food! Oh, and an cold beer just makes the whole adventure perfect. Wisened? Perhaps. Grease-stained? Definitely. Old? Older than what? Pink apron? No way!

Cook a Turkey? What? This dog only likes steaks, beer and blondes.......and not necessarily in that order either! And, Mrs. Junkyard Dog can really cook a London Broil roast too! Yum, yum!

363% of the time I will go with the burnt cow meat like rib eyes and porterhouses even a nice pikes peak roast from time to time, or a mess of chicken fried round steak...but 2% of the time I cook and eat one of those turkey birds!

MrMACK, if I move to Roundrock you will have to show me how to do a real Texas BBQ with red meat. I need to know how to make real Texas Chile too. Here in California they don't make it spicy enough. Thanks...Oscar

Oscar, If you move to Round Rock go to the local volunteer fire department and offer to help with thier next BBQ. They might let you add wood to the fire and if really lucky sop the meat other than the 2-6am shift. It takes years to learn all the secrets but you got to start somewhere. The four Ss are important. Sop, spices, sauce, sloooooooooow cooking. Then you can graduate to chili. Just remember there are no beans in real Texas Chili. They turn black from all the chili powder, peppers. Look to much like raisins.
How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
