V = 8 Cyl. engine

B = 210 series

57 = the year

S = assembled in St.Louis

101707 would have been assembled in Oct. of 1956....the last car assembled in Oct. was #117100.In 1957 the numbers began with 100001 at each plant so it would have been the 1707th car assembled in Oct in St.Louis out of a total of 15,393 to follow making it a very early 1957...Going by an average of 4000 cars a week It would have rolled out of the door in the first week of production-assuming production began on the 1st of the month.At times production could have been slow at the beginning and may have been the 2nd week....What is the body number?Fisher Body tag on firewall behind distributor.
