Members, is there any section we can't live with? Suggestions for minor changes should be sent to all of us if you think they need to be made, otherwise I vote to approve them as received. If they are "tweeked" they may not be accepted by the National board, since they may be in conflict with the National By Laws. (IMHO)

Hi all; I believe we are at a point where we unfortunately can not add any more names as charter members of this Chat Chapter. We will continue to welcome new members AFTER the application has been submitted to the Board for approval. With new names having to be checked and emailed copies of the by-laws, it's just not fair to the dudes doing all the paperwork that's required to get this Chapter off the ground. I applogize to you guys that want to join us for now. We sure don't want to turn anyone off. Let's sit tight and let us "get-her-done". You guys are welcome to join up anytime after the group is officially formed. What I think we can do is start a list with the names of you all that want to come aboard, and as soon as the by-laws are finalized we can make up applications or continue to take your information by email. I should remind you that every Chat Chapter member must be a paid up national member in good standing.  RayG

mrmack & kipper sarnie, thanks for your comments...the comments that I have received have all been very good and I believe, when incorporated, will make for a better set of by-laws for our chapter... so far, I don't believe any of them will cause our or by-laws, or any clause therein, to be in conflict with the vcca... once I get them included, I will send a revised draft to all of you for further, and hopefully final, review... thanks again for your input... epi

 Kepi, I just reviewed the amended draft by-laws and they are great. I recommend we go with them as amended, or we risk the danger of getting into wordsmithing. Everyone has a way of writing but so far the few changes made appear to be mainly additions so I say let it be without further alterations. Your draft is an excellent product and a job well done!! Thanks for all your hard work on this project. Stuart
