Have not got mine either! What good are the ads to us when half the months gone and still don't have it yet.

April G & D came to Howell, Michigan on the 10th.
34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.

Very nice '58 on the cover.
Reminded me of one of the things that I miss from the good old days....you could tell one year car from another from a distance, now you can't even tell the maker or the year of the car from a distance, they all start to look alike.

I think I'm a fairly wise person because I'm smart enough to realise I'm not too bright.

I guess putting the ads on the computer would make it equal.... At least for those with a computer. Don't know what the others (non-computer guys) would say. Maybe something like Oh well.....Just another sticky problem to add to the list!! Bill.

One of the reasons i signed up with the VCCA was because they're in Orange Ca which means for once i have a crack at getting the magazine before the east coast people. (sorry guys). I get Hemmings for the extra money, 68 or so dollars every year & have bought very little, "sorry, i sold that a week ago". Street Scene...same thing except worse. I haven't looked, is there a priority mail available for the magazine? If there's not it could be made available Like Hemmings. That would help people on the east coast. I know i would be lost without the help of this great little magazine & this website & of coarse the people that make it all happen......Joe

April 13, 13 must be my lucky number my G&D came today. By comparison I shipped a 32 pound box to the Jacksonville, Florida area this past Monday afternoon via UPS cheapest ground service and it was delivered on Wedesday morning (about 40 hours in transit)

I wonder if all of the G&D's are mailed in one big bunch on the same day?
If they are mailed in smaller batches over several days it would seem that the east coast ones could be mailed first so all of the members might get the G&D's at about the same time.

All G&Ds are delivered to the Orange CA post office on the same day. They are sorted by zip code plus 4 in order to get the lowest cost. It is up to the PO to get them delivered and only they determine how long it takes to get to any member. As with other issues, nothing will change unless it becomes a priority for the BOD. People can comment or complain on this site 'til the end of time and nothing will happen. And individual complaints to BOD members will not receive much attention unless a practical solution is also proposed.

...."unless a practical solution is also propose." I Propose My G&D gets delivered faster, sooner each month.
Thanks

We can solve your problem Mike!!
I get mine on the 1st of every month. Never misses unless it is a Sunday.
For a small fee and a Fed-X next day delivery charge, we could arrandge to have it in your hand post haste. Then you could just snail mail yours back to me.

Aaaaa, OK!?? But first let me see if I get this: IF I pay, on top of what I have all ready payed, I can get what I paid for, again ? Aaaah, you know I'll get back to you, But don't wait outside by the mail box... :o However If I wanted to, I could walk to "the" Orange County Post office in about a day or so, get my G&D, then walk back in about another day or so. This would put me at home reading my G&D on or about the 4/5 th. of the month. Ummmm, so I walk 2-4 days, or I pay again. Let's see, What to do!??? Michael
