Yes I have heard , in case of danger, like a big old bear heading for the hunting camp to "break camp and run into the wind"

not to "break wind and run into the camp".

I used to tell my boys (when they were growing up) and my sales people (when I was trying to "educate" them on the art of selling)......

It's not likely you'll learn anything if you're doing all the talking.

Hey Wayne,

Just a thought......

Wouldn't it be easier to just hit the 'print' button rather than trying to "copy" these one-liners, pieces of advice, words to live by, expressions, etc. etc.

Bill.

Bill, I use the "copy" button and then go to a blank Word page and use the "paste" button, the word 'copy' doesn't mean handwritten anymore. Using the 'print' button means I would be printing everything without any editing.

When I was in your type of business (selling) the line I used was:

"If a customer buys only what they came into the store for, you have not sold them anything"

Here's a good one.

Never teach a pig to sing.
It wastes your time and annlyes the pig.
