Does anyone know how to pull these apart to install them?

Hi,

The first step is to disassemble the switch and remove the wire that goes through the handle from the switch. Next is to remove the through bolt just at the end of the grip/handle. With this bolt removed you can pull the handle off. Now the light and long shaft can be inserted in the hole from the outside of the car, replace the handle and through bolt and finally reconnect the switch wire.
