I surely would love to have that old sister with one of them double boom Holmes Wrecker bodies and two or three winches, I drove a 5 ton 6X6 wth a holmes wrecker on it back in 1962 when I was in the USMC, I even went to school on the Holmes wrecker, but I never got to retreive a vehicle that required useing the complete works, just hooked on to them ,mostly duece and halfs, and dragged them in to the shop.

Hey Mike, How ya been,Yeah seems like one of the COE's that guy had on ebay last month didn't have a title either. Don't know what's up with that. Hey Mack, you wouldn't have any Old Holmes Wrecker Literature(or pictures) lying around would you.

Mack, I had a guy tell me that alot of the early military wreckers were W45 Holmes outfits. This is what I'm looking for. The military had some W45's that were the same as the civilian versions.I'm putting together a civilian version W45, I also have a Holmes 525. Catch ya later, Spanky
