Spanky, feel free to post the direct link to a page on EBAY. I know it helps some of the users find the item more quickly.
(MT, thanks for posting the link to the ad. )

Yeah, That's a pretty nice looking truck from what I can see. I plan to chrome the grille & upper hood grille bar on my '53 Wrecker. Don't think I'm going to mess with chroming the doubled front bumper on it though. What size rubber are you running on your '54 COE. I'm going to try to run 9.00x20 on the front & rear of the '53 COE, my '54 COE has new 8.25x20's on the front with the front axle of the tandem running 4 new 9.00x20's & the rear axle of the tandem running used 9.00x20's. I'm going to run 10.00x20's on both of my GMC COE's. This '48 on ebay has a nice look to the interior, nice arm rest, & seat cover. Could use some repo. door panels & slap an orig. radio in it. I never have liked those two-tone paint jobs. Catch ya later, Spanky

YOu have two choices. The easiest is to just go the page you want to link to and then "copy" and base the link out of the address bar on your window. Then come to this site, start your reply and "paste" it where you want the link to go. (Or just type in the address...like this: http://www.gotothiswebpage.com The other way is to use the "instant UBB code" by clicking the button found at the bottom of the POST A REPLY page which says "URL". You type in the address and then what you want displayed. Both work wonders. Try it out. - James

MT did you go to the older post about posting picturs? Is it as clear as mud? I printed out the instructions the first time someone told me how (a 17 year old Chevrolet fan that has a 70 Chevelle and a 70 pickup, he was on the classicar chat, goes by Need for Speed)

I surely would love to have that old sister with one of them double boom Holmes Wrecker bodies and two or three winches, I drove a 5 ton 6X6 wth a holmes wrecker on it back in 1962 when I was in the USMC, I even went to school on the Holmes wrecker, but I never got to retreive a vehicle that required useing the complete works, just hooked on to them ,mostly duece and halfs, and dragged them in to the shop.

Hey Mike, How ya been,Yeah seems like one of the COE's that guy had on ebay last month didn't have a title either. Don't know what's up with that. Hey Mack, you wouldn't have any Old Holmes Wrecker Literature(or pictures) lying around would you.

Mack, I had a guy tell me that alot of the early military wreckers were W45 Holmes outfits. This is what I'm looking for. The military had some W45's that were the same as the civilian versions.I'm putting together a civilian version W45, I also have a Holmes 525. Catch ya later, Spanky
