I have a 1939 one and a half ton dually pickup truck like the one that Jim Carter has on his website (oldchevytrucks.com)(look under the working trucks section) and I am in need of a pair of rear fenders for this bed. They will fit '37-'46 chevy dually pickups and panel trucks. If anyone has any information on parts for this bed or has information on it, please let me know. Thanks

1939 Chevy 1 1/2 ton dually rear wheel pickup
1940 Chevy 1 1/2 ton single rear wheel pickup
1946 Chevy 2 ton cab and chassis
1977 Chevy 3/4 ton camper special 4x4
Obsessed 16yr old Chevy truck nut

Bob, Just a note-the pick-up fenders are not the same as a panel. The P.U are much deeper (or wider) than the panel.

Are you talking about dually fenders? I have heard from Jim Carter that single rear wheel fenders are the same on panels and pickups.

Ok, so dually rear fenders are different between panels and pickups but single rears are the same I take it.

If they are similar to the 1934 to 36 trucks the pickup fenders attach through holes in the inside edge of the fender, 1937-38 p/n 594855 & 856 (chassis & cab); the panels bolted up through holes in the top center line of the fender and the inner portion of the fender area was cut out, 1937-38 p/n 594181 & 182(except chassis & cab).

34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.
