Hey Rob: That poor old 1930 Chevy sport coupe that was on eBay appeared to be worse than your car when you started. At least your car was together, on wheels and pretty much all there. Not so with the old coupe. However, the coupe can still be preserved (as you mentioned) in three basic ways......either it can be completely restored (I've seen it done with cars that were worse), or it can be made into a street rod, or it can be parted out to get other cars on the road. In that last scenario, not only would part of the car get preserved, but it would help to preserve other 1930 Chevys and get them back on the road too.

You will definitely have a nice '31 there when you are done, and it's great that you are preserving it. Good going!! Oh, by the way, talk about doing what it takes to preserve a car; a friend of mine found just the cowl, the windshield posts and the two rocker panels to a 1937 Chevy cabriolet in a field. He totally and authentically restored the parts into a complete car....believe it or not, (including all of the rare accessories too) and now it is one of the nicest cars in the nation. At the VCCA anniversary meet in Rapid City he had the car judged and it scored 999 points!! Now.......that's dedication to restoration and preservation! Wow! yipp laugh laugh laugh laugh

I had the same problem a few weeks ago and it turned out to be the POP UP blocker . See if yours is set to aggresive mode a then turn it down a bit and it should work.

Actually the 37 cabriolet was first shown and judged at the Springfield, IL 40th Anniversary meet.
