In 15 minutes, I'm going to make a change to see if I can improve the performance on this new puppy. It'll be at 6:00 PM PST.

Please post here if you notice any difference. Thanks.

Bill, twice tonight I have used the edit feature and the message has not been edited.

Still slow for me too.

I'm seeing different times.. one page was 7 or 8 seconds and another was 20 secs.

Let's give the pages time to rebuild their caches and see how it is over the next hour.

Initially, it doesn't appear to be any worse!!!

Thanks mate!

I added an "accelerator" product last night at 6 pm local time. I'm guessing that it brought us almost back to the same response as before the crash. It's noticable to me.

In any case, I'm going to keep it running since it appears to have improved the original speed of this new hosting site.

It takes almost 15 seconds for a response when I hit "Back" to previous page. Don't know it thats my computer or the new program. It used to be almost instantanious. Also just noticed when I went to preview this post after 95 seconds it came up blank, then in another 10 seconds it showed up. I don't remember it taking that long before. Still this is a great chat site.

Bill,
I'm just not sure whether the accelerator helped me or not.

I still seems slower than before.

But I'm on dial up and you know how that is.

Bill,
It's very fast going from topic page to posts in that topic. About 4 seconds.

It does seem to hang when changing from topic page to another topic page. I counted 40 seconds.

Cable. It took approx 80 seconds to post my test post.

Going from topic to topic though is fairly quick.
