VCCA Home Forums TECHNICAL - 1945 AND EARLIER 1916-1922 - Model 490 Steering wheel nut, key way and gas cap

I have a 1919 490 touring and looking for a steering wheel hold down nut and key way. Also a correct gas cap. Does anyone know if these are sold new or if someone has any of these parts they would like to part with. I also would like to know if there is a gas filter between the tank and carb. I would guess a glass bowl type would be correct. Where would it be located at tank end or carb. Any picture would a great help of the cab area and linkage. I live in Niagara falls NY and would like to know if someone lives near me where I can come over and look at the 1919/1920 car to see how things are put together. Thanks Bob

Gary Wallace will have a gas cap for your car, earlychevyparts.com. My steering wheel acorn nut was missing when I got my 19, so can't help there. PM me if you need any pictures.
