I'm going through the brakes on my 36 Master. I have a question/problem with the master cylinder. The fill plug is not directly under the floor plug. The design of the mc is such that the plug is tilted towards the center of the car and not straight up, and as such is nearly impossible to remove the fill plug. It looks like the mc for the Standard as shown on Chevs of the 40's web site. It lists a different style for the 37, but doesn't say if it will work on a 36. I would like to replace it, but I don't know where to go to get one, if in fact what I have is wrong. Help!

I believe you are correct.
i would watch for a 1936 cylinder for a Master on Ebay.
