A reminder that the Gulf Coast region is hosting an Area 9 meet in October in Clearwater FL. Info listed on the VCCA calendar and the last ad will be in the Sept G & D. Cutoff is Sept 25.

Good luck at the meet I have enjoyed the couple I been to, Unfortunately with it being in October and already taking off for Hershey work will not let me take off more days in the month

An update on the Area 9 meet. Met with Marriot Hotel event Co-Ordinator today and we made the decision to hold the car judging portion of our meet at the host hotel. Logistically this is a better fit since we won’t have to go three miles away in usually heavy traffic to Quaker Steak. The Banquet facility is just east of the hotel that is via a frontage road and the only travel outside is to the two auto museums that we have planned.
I think that this will make for a more memorable and a less stressful visit for all of you.
Also, a reminder that the cut off for the Hotel and Banquet is September 25.

Area 9 meet is in the books! Great time, great weather and great to meet Ohio, NC, TN and GA members. Will be sending out pictures and info in our newsletter to all Area 9 region directors and Miami Valley region.
