Working on a 1953 Chevrolet Pickup 3600 for a friend. He wants the main part of the cab, fenders and bed to be painted COPPER TONE, which is a 53 truck color. However; my local paint supplier cannot find a cross reference to his line of product. I did find a web-site that gives some cross reference but again my supplier can't find the proper formula. Here is what I found: 1953 Chevrolet Commercial: COPPERTONE Code 522 Ditzler 20941; Dupont 1683H; 93-72005

For the top of the cab he wants a 1956 ARIBIAN IVORY, Code 737. Ditzler 80852 Dupont 2409; 246-58186; 93-58186

Can anyone suggest a modern color that comes close to this or any other suggestions? Thanks for any help. Ron Eyres

Look at the Auto color library in San Diego for paint colors. You may have to purchase a small amount and have it matched locally if they don't have the right type, cost or ?
