Are the front and rear bumpers the same on a
'41 Coupe? In the parts catalog, the front bumper doesn't appear to have the center hole that my car has. My car has five holes on each of the front and rear bumpers. They appear to be the same.
 chevy

The original front bumpers were the same EXCEPT for the spacing of the holes. The front bumper guard holes are closer together than the rears-and the outter holes are in a different location. Both front and rear had a center bolt hole.If they have five holes they are the correct original type bumpers.
About 1948 Chevrolet sold a universal bumper for 1940 and 1941 cars. The bumper has nine holes so it could be used on the front or the rear.
