I attempted to adjust my emergency brake on my 1948 Fleetmaster Woodie and could not get an open ended wrench on the adjusting nut. Any tips on adjusting the emergency brake?

There is a nut on the threaded end of the each cable where they connect in the center and I can’t reach them with an open ended wrench

A 12 point box end should work on the front side. The open end on the back side to break it loose.
