The early has a screw in the center of the thing the ARMS FASTEN TO AND NO SCREW ON THE LATE. THE PROCESS IS LISTED IN THE FRONT PAGES OF THE 1953 SHOP MANUAL FOR BOTH DESIGNS, Gene Schneider
