What is the torque on the Cap Bolts on the Crankshaft Bearings? Should I use locktite?
Thanks

Hello Bama31,
Please see the post by 'Chipper' 10/11/08 09:42PM #128760
It should answer all or most of your questions.
When it comes to using Locktite, there are different types.
My opinion, if main cap bolts use mechanical type lock features, Locktite is not needed.
Sometimes, with a bolt/fastener that rotates (say camshaft/crankshaft/balancer bolt and pulleys, they may loosen even with a lock washer installed. Locktite might by wise in such cases.
