Now that we've run the gamut on chrome plating, can someone recommend a good cad plater for items such as hood hinges and latches? I really don't like the look of Eastwood's paint for these large items. I've been using Caswell Plating's kit for bolts and smaller items and am really happy with the results, but the kit's a little small for larger items.

hello Bob . I use burbank plating for all my clear cad parts heres the information Burbank plating 13561 Desmond St. Pacoima Ca. 91331-2316 phone is 818 899 1157. small paint bucket full starts at 100.00 with a week turn around , they have never lost any parts . hope this helps

I just had some plating done by Bill Oldenburg in Galena IL I was very happy! He does zinc plating because the cadmium is no longer available. Either silver or gold. His e-mail is classy58@yousq.net by the way his turn around was real fast
