Good day folks, weather has finally warmed up a bit and getting the 38 ready for the season. It has the original seats and headliner and in amazing shape for the age. Is there a safe way to clean the seats without causing any damage? I have a home carpet cleaner with upholstery attachments and was wondering about using that.

Is there a tried and true method?

I used Orvus WA Paste on the original seat covers and headliner in my '37. It did a great job of lifting the years of dirt without damaging the fabrics.

A carpet cleaner might be a little too aggressive both chemically and mechanically.

You probably can get it at a farm supply store that caters to horse owners. They use it to wash horse blankets as well as the horse itself.

Thanks Rusty, I ordered a tub of it and will give it a try.
