OP Jeff1951 Backyard Mechanic Joined: Jul 2018 Posts: 217 Likes: 3 Bloomfield Twp., MI	I am trying to determine what the original configuration of the positive battery cable was on my '51 Styleline Deluxe. Was the cable cloth wrapped, laquered wire or solid vinyl covered? Were there any markings ("GM", "PACKARD", etc.) on the terminal? I have seen NOS cables with the correct part number that have "PACKARD" on the terminals and the same part number without. The vendors disagree as to whether the '51 had cloth wrap or not. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Jeff
