Greetings. I have an upper radiator hose needing replacement soon on my ‘41 coupe. Getting replacement hoses from our vendor partners has been challenged by supply chain issues for some time now. I have been hesitant to remove the hose in concern that I may not find a replacement easily. Does anyone know the I/D of the stock upper hose? I am unable to gauge the diameter either from the radiator inlet or thermostat housing outlet with the existing hose in place.

Thank you

I don't know a vendor who will cut you one out of stock material.

The last time I went looking for the top hose I ended up with a pricy piece about three feet long. I think it was from NAPA.

Good luck,

ou can buy a moulded upper hose for a 1942-1948 and AD trucks and cut off the curved end and it will cost less money than a 3 foot straight hose. Because it also fits the trucks it comes in an ultra long piece,

In hopes that this might help someone else out in the future I wanted to circle back and say that I was able to locate a replacement 1-1/4 I.D. upper hose through my local tractor supply www.tractorsupply.com. It is a 7” length, remove 1” and it fits like a charm. Thanks to those that assisted with helpful information above.
