Hey Folks,

I just had great success replating my headlight reflectors with a Caswell Plug N' Plate Silver Plating, DIY kit. Walmart.com was the best deal I found.

One of my reflectors had almost no silver left and was oxidized VERY bad. The other was tarnished and after a good polish had brass starting to come through the silver. Before plating, I polished both reflectors with a drill and a Harbor Freight polishing kit that has the cotton polishing wheels and rouge. Sorry, forgot to take before pics I did include after polishing pics. I had to electroplate and hand polish (with silver polish) the reflectors twice to get to a point I was happy. They are not perfect, but look pretty dang good and my lights are much better now.

I probably put four hours total into the replating and it cost around $75.

Let me know if anyone has any questions.
Kerry
