I have an accessory visor vanity mirror group 10.195 part no. 985137 that has developed a flaw right beside the service record wording on the upper left hand side of the main center part of the mirror. The flaw is one inch long vertically and 1/2 wide.

Question: Can this be "resilvered" (ifM centered at top center of main part of it? It has been in the original box (which is in excellent shape) for many years now (I doubt it was ever mounted) and I hate to just toss it. (It still has what appears the original unused pencil in its holder above the mirror.)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just a suggestion for you, Charlie. Google "mirror silvering North Carolina" and see the results you get. The folks at one of these places may be able to look at your mirror and answer all your questions. Hope this helps!!
