Are the front and rear fenders on a 1/2 ton and 3/41946 pick up the same? I learned the hard way that the running boards are longer on the 3/4, which makes complete sense if I had thought about it for 5 minutes.

My parts book says YES.
Front fenders were the same for 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks from 1941 to 1946.
Rear fender part numbers list the same fender for 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks from 1939 to 1946.
