We are trying to identify this wheel cylinder. It is on the rear of a 1954 3100 pickup.
It does not look like the wheel cylinders in the shop manual. The wheel cylinder kits you get from the normal supply houses do not include the internal style end boot. Those kits have external boots.
To make it even more confusing if you order a replacement wheel cylinder you get one like this design with the internal end boot. The catalog pictures show a wheel cylinder with external boots but that is not what you get,
I would say it’s a normal replacement, that a newer style works.
