I have a 1960 Impala and it has a Saginaw 3 speed manual transmission(built 1966-67). I wanted to know if anyone can tell me if the backup light switch is hooked to a port on the transmission or it is hooked up externally. Thanks for any help

I believe that is correct . I looked at the tx. and there does not seem to be a port for a switch. Thanks Jerry
