I have a 1918 490 which has a damaged front wheel hub and I was wondering if anyone out there may have a spare one they would wish to part with.
The part number is H 697 as per the 490 parts list dated March 1917.

Derek, model t ford hubs can be used, the differences are that the model T ford hub has better material thickness at the outer bearing area, the early 490 hubs are also parallel , where T ford hub has a stepped recess. A good machinist would be able to make some half circle sleeves to fill the recess, so that the area is flush with the original diameter. Curiously ,the 490 owners manuals show front hubs with the T ford type recess, and not the 490 hub without the step.
