Can someone tell me what are the proper license plate installation parts. Or method? It is impossible to see the proper mounting plates online for my1958 Impala as they list several and I know that some are for trucks. Thanks for any help.

A little plastic nut /plug slipped into the opening and a sheet metal screw with a large slotted screw
head went into the plastic nut. I think you could find something at a hardware store that wil work, You will need to know the size the the opening/bolt hole.
