Does anyone know the thread size on a 1953 car left side tie rod. Working on a friends car and the driver side tie rod threads need to be chased. Threads are a little messed up. I'm thinking with size I can fine a die on ebay, thanks

ChetC,
According to The Chevy parts catalog, the size is 9/16 - 18. It also indicates that the left side would have LH threads.
A new tie rod end is probably cheaper than a die. I have them with both LH and RH threads. Send me a PM or give me a call, if you want. You can find them on eBay or from many of the vendors, as well.
