I am working a 56 Sedan Delivery and trying to determine the correct colours for the interior. My data plate shows "Trim 615" which I understand refers to the upholstery colour of Gold Striped Vinyl w/Charcoal Gray Vinyl. As far as I am aware, this was the only upholstery colour available in the sedan delivery. What I am trying to confirm is the correct colour for the headliner material and for the painted surfaces on the interior including the dashboard and metal trim. I'd appreciate any help and advice on this topic.
Thanks
Pete

The headling is Biege vinyl. Will get back later with more info.
And yes, there was only one interior color.

I have samples of the actual upholstery material in the dealer albumn.
The Charcoal is like a pebble design. The light biege has a verticle straight grain with a recessed line running in the same direction -about 3/4" apart.
Same as combination 616 for a 150 wagon.

The steering wheel and column and lower part of the dash is Dune Biege. Top of dash and garnish mouldings black.

Thank you very much. This is very helpful. I have the remnants of the seat material so I can use that as samples. It is great to know the paint colours, hopefully I can get a good match.

I have an original bucket seat that still retains remnants of material attached to it. It has the charcoal material on the seating surfaces rather that on the seat back and sides as described in the reply above. I just received some upholstery samples from SMS in Oregon. The charcoal vinyl that they sent me is a close match to the original pebble grain material on my seat.
The beige material that SMS sent me has the vertical straight grain with a recessed line in it however my original seat has a smoother beige color material on the sides and back, more like a pebble grain material than the embossed vinyl. The combination of dark seating surfaces with the lighter color on the sides and back of the seat seems to make sense in a utility vehicle like the sedan delivery.
My understanding is that, originally, the sedan delivery came with only a driver's seat and that a second bucket seat was an extra cost option. Alternatively, the purchaser could step up to an optional split bench seat. I am wondering whether the match to combination 616 for the 150 wagon would only apply to a sedan delivery equipped with the optional bench seat.
I have posted a picture of my original seat on my profile page. I am not 100% certain that it has not been recovered at some point in its life although I have seen pictures of a 55 bucket seat that looks the same as mine does.
Your thoughts?

I'm finally getting close to ordering paint. I have found paint codes for Nassau Blue but have had no luck with the Dune Beige and Charcoal colours for the interior. The paint suppliers that I have spoken with were unable to supply a match for the interior colours.

The Paint codes that I have found are as follows:
Dune Beige: Ditzler PPG 2241 or Dupont 246-59144, 93-59144
Charcoal: DUCO 73605

Any suggestions?

You know, when you don't know which is the right color for your interior, just go for beige. Beige is the basic color and there's nothing that could go wrong with it. If you want to add some color to your room, then grey or black may be a good choice. These are dark colors and beige will make them stand out more. I just bought some beige furniture from China. The seller sent it through packages24.com . I hope that I'll receive my parcels next week.
