Ken, there is casting numbers and casting dates on top of the heads to help identify which heads they are,
Commons double hump casting numbers end with 461 , 462, 186, 291, and 292,

Jack
as a follow up the block has 3970010 casting number and the stamp on the passenger side ends TAX indication 1970 truck. The pan is off and its 4 bolt large journal. The heads number is 3991492 ( a 1970 number) and is the double hump variety. I was told and it appears that the block and the heads were factory. I pulled the camshaft out (solid lifters) and the size of the lobes was incredible. Needs replacement.
