Appears there are two sizes and material for fender welting . I have a 55 1st pickup and need to get some welting for my fenders. i see vinyl or rubber 3/16 or 1/4 inch . any ideas Thanks

I've used the type that goes on VW's and works good....but can't remember just where I ordered it from. Hold up very good.

Not to hijack a thread but I am anxious for input on original welting. I thought (at least in 54 so same body style) there was a series of seals in front fenders between inner and outer fenders. (Not sure about fenders and cab. Ans also no welting at all between rear fenders and bedsides (although it would be helpful as I am pretty sure it was a source of squeaks)
