WILL ANY chevy 10 spline 9-1/8" clutch plate work in a stock 50 set up. for example 1963-to 1970 chevy 10 spline 9-1/8" will it work in a 50 it looks like it has the same dimensions as the stock 50 friction plate thanks

The splines of my 38 are the same as the splines of the 72 - 84 Australian Holden and the later 196? US Saginaw but have not compared any further. Tony
