The engine looks exactly like the one in my 1926 roaster.

I was going over the threads on this posting and although the engine is clearly 1926, with the tag indicating Superior K, there seemed to be some thought that the car had received an engine transplant. Usually I can reasonably guesstimate whether the car is a 25 or 26 by looking under the hood. If you have a hole in the fire wall where the horn would be mounted, it is likely an early 25. They apparently moved the horn to the engine in late 25 so that is not a for sure of it being 25. The headlights being mounted into the front fenders instead of on the bar would be another indication it was a K. They too were moved in late 25.
I assume the radiator might have been changed so the bottom outlet was on the opposite side to 25 as the generator went from the right side to the left in 26. If it had an original Harrison radiator, the tag on the engine side right top usually carries the YOM.
Have fun...……….Joe.
