"'Services
This is the place to list the services that you, as a member, offer.

Please note: The people listed here are NOT endorsed by the VCCA other than the fact that they are members, former members or close friends of members. Please use normal caution and prudence when soliciting support for repairing a rare part or seeking professional help for a service on your Vintage Chevrolet."
Copied from the forum listing. Maybe I am interpreting it wrong but it looks to me like VCCA MEMBERS can list their services or RECOMMEND others whether members or not but I do not see anything that says a NON-MEMBER can list his/her services or recommend anyone else.

There is nothing stopping any forum member from posting there as far as I can see. I checked and most of the posts there are by non VCCA members.

I agree and unless there is an abuse problem nothing will change.

HI all,

Just an update. I have the replacement idle tube on order from TFS, and been talking with one of the previously mentioned experts to do the work.

As always, appreciate the guidance!

Steve

I now have in my possession, a beautifully refurbished carburetor (Thanks JYD!).

I was able to get a good road test in last night, and my idle is MUCH improved, the occasional missing/bucking at light throttle is gone, and a have little more power. All good, and very happy!

Thanks all for the input, and JYD for excellent work!

Steve
