I have an empty lighter socket. The report was that the lighter was lifted at a car show decades ago.

The "socket", see pic attached, visible near the top of the pic, doesn't look like anything i have ever seen. It is quite wide.

Were normal size lighters available back then? i can get 6V lighter and I found some Catalin that matches the shift knob and I can make a matching knob for a '40s 6V lighter, if that would be period correct.
Thanks,
Doug

that's the same lighter base as my 34 Chevrolet master one that fits in the dash. They also produced one that attaches to the underside of the dash that uses same receiver..

Generally the originals I see in CAITILYN ?? are a honey colour and I have purchased 2 of them for my 35 standards . No idea if 33 what colour the lighter knob would be ???

A month or so ago a NOS one, complete , was on ebay, went for $200 plus. I was bidding on it.

Search ebay 1934 Chevrolet under SOLD LISTINGS , it might still come up
