does anyone know how to verify if a 1967 chevelle was offered with a 360 hp 396 engine. the car has a jan.67 build code thanks fred hall

According to my source the Chevelle was available in a (350)HP 396 and a (325) HP 396.

Go to www.chevelles.com. It shows all the engine suffixs. They show 325, 350, & 375., but no 360hp Joe

thanks, i know that a 396 in 66 could be 325 360 or 375 and in 67 they were 325 350 and 375. what i want to know is was it possible to have a late 66 come thru in very early (jan) 67 as a 360 and sold as a 67 with 360 hp.

A very late 1966 Chevelle would have been built in July of 1966 not in January of 1967.
