I'm having trouble finding two 12v 7" non-halogen headlight bulbs. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Thanks for the info.

I ordered two GE 6014 headlight bulbs today from (of all places) Do-It-Best Hardware. Will be shipped to my local store to arrive day after tomorrow. $4.39 ea. No shipping charge. Supposedly the "old fashioned" kind; not halogen. We'll see.

LONNIE..........you did not buy BULBS, you bought 7 inch round head lights GE 6014. Googled them and that what comes up, head lights.

For old style bulbs for early pre 38 cars you need to go to the sources i listed.

My bad. I used the wrong term and should have specified my vehicle. I needed and purchased 7" sealed beam headlights for my '54 3104 that has been converted to 12v; not the bulbs that go inside a reflector.

Deu to a regulator problem I toasted a 6V sealed beam in my 52, on an out of town trip with some free time I walked into a small parts house and asked if they had any in stock. Answer is yes, cost was about 7 bucks as I recall and was told that there are a bunch of old car guys in this town and we stock a lot of old cars stuff. They still have racks of books at each parts station. talk

Gee..........NAPA lists #6014 (non halogen) on line as available in warehouse. But local store told me that it is not available and has been superceded by #6024 halogen.
Pepboys - I found nothing on line. Maybe I searched incorrectly.
O'reilleys - Yes, in warehouse. I found after my original post.

A trip to a couple of old local parts stores was my next step if I hadn't found the GE6014.

It's amazing how different people refer to parts by various names. Should make us appreciate more the guy behind the counter who has to interpret what we really want. As someone I used to work with would say " don't sell the customer what he ask for-sell him what he needs!'.

There are numerous sources on eBay.

I just gave replaced 2 in my Miata with Halogens. I gave the ones I removed to my friend who is getting his '49 3100 back on the road. He is converting to 12v.
