Can someone tell me where the VIN numbers are located on a 68 model truck? Thanks,....

My '68 1/2 ton VIN plate is located on the driver's door lock pillar just below the door latch assembly. It's a bright silver plate approximately 1.5 X 2.5 inches in size.
