What model it can be used on? etc. Pretty sure it is a 3-speed Chevy Transmission. There is a date imprinted on the side 12/20/23 Part number appears to be the letter "D" in a circle, the number; 323650 B

cufrcp Backyard Mechanic Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 305 Toledo, Ohio	Based on your date code, this would have been in a '24 Chevrolet however it is also the same as the '23 model. I don't know about all the details but here are a few of the basics from memory. The 490 series (1916-1922) used a different top cover and shifter. I believe that the transmission case is the same from around 1919 to 1924. In 1925 - 1928 did have some slight changes but others on here will know more than I do. Chris
