I am putting a pre-72 steering column in a Model A. It is a key in dash style. 7 wires . Can anyone help me out with where they go. I've about worn out my tester trying to figure it out. Thanks for the help. Nice forum!!!

Ollie,
This has been a long time coming and I am doing this from memory so bear with me. I am not sure about your color of wires (most columns had the same color code with a few exceptions) The colors are: White: this wire goes to the brake switch. Dark Green: This is your right rear turn signal. Yellow: This wire is your left rear turn signal. Purple: This wire goes to your turn signal flasher. Brown: This wire goes to your hazard flasher. Dark Blue:This is your right front indicator-turn signal lamp wire.Light Blue: This is your left front indicator-turn signal lamp. Black: Horn Wire. Columns that had lighted shift indicators on them had a gray wire to power the indicator light.
