Your assumption is correct
10% gain from 4.11 to 3.70 and 15% gain from 4.11 to 3.55.

Also a car with Power Glide (a torque converter) at a steady higer speed and at a perfect level cruise the engine will be turing about 2% faster due to converter slippage.
