216 lifters are shorter than 235/261, no?

Comparing the lifters side by side I could see no difference.The 1941-53 216 push rods are 9/64" shorter than the 1941-55 235-261 push rods due to the taller blocks.

Will the rocker arm adjuster make up the difference? or do I need 235 push rods?

As I mentioned in an earlier post you will need 235 push rods and rocker arms.....If the lifters are a fraction of an inch different the adjustment will compensate for it.
