I was told that there maybe a vin number on the chassis of my 55 1st series pickup. I live in California and the DMV will not like having two vin numbers on the same truck. I my need to change chassis if may is bent . THANK FOR ANY INFO HAPPY FATHERS DAY .

There is not a serial number on the chassis frame.
