My '54 235 Chevy engine is restored, however the flywheel has three areas where the gears have been worn down. Can these areas be filed and still work? Can the teeth be taken off and the inside parts of the teeth be used? Or do I need to find another flywheel? P.S. The surface is shiny. Is that OK or does it need to be resurfaced? Thanks,
Dan.
