Need help on the correct way to remove the chrome frame( that holds the glass in ) from metal frame that the rubber is in... need to blast these parts...any help is appreciated..

clamp glass part into a vice with wood on either side. Then get a wood block and tap on the metal frame to get the frame to slide off glass. You can also try and exacto knife down the sides on the cloth between frame and glass to loosen it . Above info was taken from a post on the RUSTY BOWTIES website mike lynch

If you are a responsible worker you can put lighter fluid around the edge of the glass and the frame. It loosens the sealer.

Not wanting to remove glass from frame
Want to separate chrome frame that has glass installed in it ,away from metal frame that the vent rubber is installed in
Appears the only way to separate the two items is to remove and replace the pivot bolt then blast and paint and install new rubber back into the vent frame and re install in to the door .

Got vent window rivets located from FILLING STATION ...will be placing order next week for it and other parts ,,,Thanks
